My name is Jenna Wilson and I am the maker behind Terra•Cotta! I am 26 years old, married to the sweetest man, and have two boys under three. Most of the time, I am a consumer of multiple cups of coffee & changer of dozens of diapers, but during naps & the nooks and crannies, I have a creative passion to make all things around me beautiful- from baking, to designing, and now clay making.
Going back just a little over a year ago, I realized I had let motherhood take over who I truly was as a human. I no longer felt like “Jenna” who was fueled with many passions, but instead just felt like a human burp cloth and professional LEGO builder. Now before you freak out, I LOVE my babies to pieces- like truly adore those crazy monkeys, but I am learning how we as women TRULY have to carve out and prioritize doing things that we love, are passionate about, and make us feel beautiful from within. If we do this well, we can love and life well.
So, just for me, I started a journey towards feeling myself again. I wanted to feel less grunge, and more fun; less drab and just a tad more fab. I also wanted to stimulate my mind and have a creative outlet to channel that artistic side of me.
Now when it comes to feeling beautiful, I knew I realistically wasn’t going to be able to curl my hair everyday, but if I could feel beautiful with something simple added to my tank & jeans then I was all for it! I’m all about the easy peasy lemon squeezy! And when you look good, you FEEL good to tackle the day.
So, clay earrings just came to me. Through the molding, rolling and designing of the clay, I was able to dream & create. And through the actual wearing of these one-of-a-kind wonders, I was able to feel like I looked pretty which was a huge deal being a stay-at-home mom.
I am here now to share these beautiful pieces of clay with other women so they can look & feel beautiful in a simple way. You deserve to feel beautiful & fuel what gives you life, friend. So let’s make sure we take care of each other, encourage one another to take care of themselves, & empower one another to live a life of purpose- whether that’s to be a stay-at-home mom, a saavy businesswoman, or BOTH! You got this girl
Love to connect with Jenna:
